2013 Runnin' with the Law Triathlon:
Runnin with the Law Triathlon is a found raiser for the Mason City Police Department Unit 18. The funds generated from this event help sponsor Unit 18 community events including:
1. College Scholarships
2. Cops for Kids at Christmas
3. Youth Sports teams
4. Special Olympics
Course Information:
Sprint Triathlon including: 250 meter swim in the Aquatic Center pool, a ten mile bike ride around Mason City, IA, and a 3.2 mile scenic run along the famous River City river and East Park.
Teams of three memebers can compete by each team member doing one specific event of the race.
GPS Chips will be used with a staggered start.
Helmets are required for the bike portion.
Directions:
Aquatic Center in located at 933 Birch Drive in Mason City, IA. From Highway 65 and Highway 122= Travel eastbound on Highway 122 to Kentucky Avenue, turn northbound (left) onto Kentucky Avenue, continue north on Kentucky Avenue to Birch Drive, turn west (left) onto Birch Drive and proceed two blocks to the Aquatic Center.
