«Better than I thought.»
My daughter is in love with this book. As a year round competitive swimmer she has found this book incredibly useful. It has held up by the side of the pool thanks to the waterproofed pages. She loves to make up her own workouts with the flip book style. This book has been a great way to keep her motivated when she has time off from the pool & forgets to bring her coaches workout with her... or just feels the need to design her own for fun!

This a great book to use. And its really waterproof! There are endless combinations of workouts to work any and all parts of the body at the same time. My only qualm with the book is that it really only focues on free style and free style drills. I am an all around swimmer- back - FLY breast strokes...I make up for by subsituting my own drills and workouts in. Thats easy for me because I used to be a competive swimmer and I taught/trained other swimmers. However for someone who is not as experienced it could limited them

«Great swimming workouts»
This is a wonderful book to help plan your swimming workouts. I used to go to the pool and just start swimming laps... I would end up going all out in the beginning and then I would get too worn out to complete a good workout. With this book, I can flip through and select a warm-up, main set & cool-down. There are beginner, intermediate & advanced levels for each part of the workout. Now I create a total swimming workout based on how I feel and the amount of time I have at the gym. I know what is ahead of me so I pace myself during the warm-up, push myself during the main set & and I always look forward to the cool-down! I also love that this book is waterproof. I bring it to the pool with me & leave it on the edge of the pool... it can get wet and it will not be ruined!
