Customer reviews for 'Total Immersion: The Revolutionary Way To Swim Better, Faster, and Easier'

«A pamphlet disguised as a book»

The author tries sooooo hard to stretch this into a book, but there simply isn't enough to say to justify the number of pages. Chapters 1-7 could be summed up in a few well-worded pages. The author goes on forever as to why his method is an improvement over other methods. Then the drills are poorly explained and laid-out. Maybe they work great in a clinic, but not in the form they are presented here. I don't doubt that the author's methods work, but I do doubt his skills in translating these methods into book form.

«Wonderful!»

This is a fantastic book which will really help your performance in the pool. The high praise it is given is very well deserved!

«NEWBIEES»

I gave it one star because I know when I read reviews I look for the lows and highs...and since there are like 65 highs...Lets go with low. Well 6 months ago I was a new swimmer could barely do 1/2 lap @ 25yards without sinking or sqwaking like a chicken, but at any rate I get this book. Which dont get me wrong is a great study aiddddd. But at the end of the day if your a NEWBIEE what works best for some might not be all, so your going to need a trainer. And if you need a trainer like I did, save your money and get an instructor. If you got money to blow then by all means as this book will make a great addition to any library or even coffee table for that matter!
