Barb Lindquist
Alta, WY

Barb's philosophy is to fit triathlon into your life, and not your life into triathlon. Focusing on balance of priority, when triathlon isn't #1, accually does NOT mean that you won't be #1! Barb focuses on all the "little things" that separate a great athlete from a champion. Her training is tailored to the athlete. She does not offer cookie cutter training plans.

Olympic distance (non-drafting and draft-legal) and 1/2 Ironman racing for the athlete who already has some experience. Technique, strength training, and race day preparation are key to her coaching.
Barb Lindquist is one of the most accomplished professional triathletes in the history of the sport. As a swimmer at Stanford, she medaled at the Pan Am and Pan Pacific Championships. Two years after graduation, she did her first triathlon, and turned professional at the age of 26. In her career 134 races, she won 33, stood on the podium 86 times, and was top ten in 114. After retiring from 10 years of pro racing, including a 2004 Olympic Team berth (9th), she began a personal coaching business while also working for USAT part-time. Currently she is the USAT Collegiate Recruitment Coordinator, recruiting athletes like herself who excelled in college in the swim or run, convincing them to come over to the dark side and do triathlon!
