He has coached a person to a USAT National Duathlon Championship, Boston Marathon finishes and personal records, Ironman Triathlon World Championship personal records (100% of Coach Bob's athletes have PR'd in Kona for the Ironman distance of five athletes). Bob has has a good track record with Clydesdale and Athena athletes. Bob has three clients who tried out for NBC's Biggest Loser television show. Starting weights were: 506, 417, 403 and 316. Those individuals are now 200, 185, 165 and 196; NO surgery - all diet and exercise. Anything is possible when the athlete and coach are passionately after success together.

Bob came back and won the race with outstanding bike and run legs passing the leader with a half mile to go taking the win in a surprising comeback. Bob is a veteran of five Ironman Triathlons (Kona, Canada, Great Floridian/USAT National Championship, Lake Placid, Wisconsin). He has competed in 40 1/2 Ironman or 70.3 races; including the USAT National Championship and the 70.3 World Championship.
