I specialize in working with first time and novice, women triathletes. I have designed 12-week Beginner and Intermediate programs, which include a daily training plan, 2x/weekly coached workouts, and unlimited email support. Private coaching is also available.

Doing a triathlon is daunting. But the sense of accomplishment and self pride is enormous. My goal is give you the skills and confidence to finish with a smile and an eye to your next race.

I came to triathlon from a background in running and did my first tri in 1992 - one of the early, lengendary Danskin Women's Triathlon. With no coaching and not enough training, I managed a respectable mid-pack finish in my age group, and fell in love with the sport. Since that time, I have raced in over 50 local and regional Sprint and Olympic distance tris. I hold a Masters in Educational Psychology and a Bachelors in Interpersonal Communications. My background includes 20 years in non-profit management and a start-up specialty food business, Granola Jo and Company. Three years ago, I returned to school full time in Physical Fitness and turned a long-standing personal commitment to sport and fitness into a new career as an ACE Certified Personal Trainer.
