Since making the switch from soccer to track & field in grade school, I have become a “student” of endurance sports. I have left no stone unturned in my research on training methodology, nutrition, injury prevention, and strength & conditioning. I believe success in endurance athletics requires a holistic, balanced, long-term approach to training and racing.
I come from a distance running background and have 15 years of training and racing experience. I was a 3 year captain of the Cross-country, Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field teams and received all-conference honors in the 10,000 meters while competing for Widener University. Since college, I have transitioned to longer running races on the road and am an elite amateur multisport athlete.
I am a USATF certified coach and have been coaching athletes to success in running and multisport for over a year.
