After starting my triathlon racing career in 2008, I quickly realized that I have a passion for the sport. I have raced in over 40 events of all distances and have a great deal of experience and knowledge from my educational background. I graduated from Grand Valley State University with bachelors degree in clinical exercise science in 2012 and finsihed my masters of science in exercise and sports medicine while studying exercise physiology at Western Michigan University in 2014. Since graduating from college, I moved down to the Upstate South Carolina region and have begun my full time career as the Healthy Living Director at a YMCA while teaching as an adjunct faculty member in a personal training program at a local college and coaching part-time.
I have a great deal of experience with program design and assessments. I also have the biomechanical and physiological knowledge that can help you increase performance and prevent injuries. I am a Certified Strength & Condition Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and have the Exercise is Medicine credential through the American College of Sports Medicine.
I am looking for dedicated athletes who have a high work ethic and willing to put the time and effort in to achieve their goals. If this sounds like you, then send me an email and we can chat to see if we will be a good fit!
